Bar, Restaurant and Lounge To meet guests' expectations concerning food and beverage service as per SOP. To ensure cleanliness of equipment and work environment.

 

• Ensure mise en place for service and table settings/venue set up
• On a day to day basis plan, organise and direct the assigned restaurant section
• Maintain the restaurant and areas under his/her control under the most stringent hygiene and sanitation standards
• Reports bad functioning of utilities such as lights, fans and toilets and reports to superior for any repair or defect
• Answer telephone calls and take reservation and orders as per hotel’s standard
• Follow up on guests’ orders
• Assist subordinates in clearing tables and order taking
• Ensure smooth service throughout by supervising and coordinating dining room personnel 
• Promote customer loyalty through the quality of service provided
• Welcome and seat guests, advising each on their choice of food and wine and taking their order
• Manage cultural needs and expectations of guests
• Anticipate and meet guest needs
• Up selling and identification of additional revenue opportunities
• Ensure that his or her team offers the highest level of service in the welcome it extends to its customers and the way its serves their meals
• Check guests  satisfaction throughout service and act upon if needed
• Be totally aware of guests’/ visitors’/ repeaters’ preferences/ special requirements of food and beverage
• Inform the Restaurant Manager of any complaints or any other problems that may arise.
• Ensure that all rules concerning the Billing and Ordering are adhered to
• Polyvalent across all F&B outlets
• Attend and do shift handing
• Help in tidying the restaurant after service
• Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
• Maintain cleanliness of work area 
• Refill/ replenish supply of linen and other operating equipment
• Anticipate guest’s requests
• Verify guest satisfaction 
• Aware of guests’/ visitors’/ repeaters’ preferences/ special requirements of food and beverage
• Conduct any cognate duties assigned
