• NTC 3 from Hotel School with an excellent knowledge of wines • 3 Years experience in similar hotels or resorts 5* • Fluent in English and French both written and spoken, a third language would be an advantage

 

 

1Assist HR in conducting selection and recruitment of TM
2Assist the F&B Manager to carry out Performance Appraisal and to identify necessary training measures
3Take part in training and implement accordingly
4Communicate to superior the training needs of the TM and conducts on the job training
5Act as a coach with his/her TM
6Keep his superior informed about all unusual matters concerning any plans affecting his/her area
7Ensure that discipline prevails within the team and communicates any disciplinary issues to superior / HR manager
8Play an active role in the team and ensure smooth and satisfactory hand-over between shifts
9Assist in the building of an efficient team by taking interest in their welfare, safety and development
10Finalize the weekly roster to be posted six days before the actual date
11Ensure high level of quality services are delivered to guests at all times
12Handle and monitor guests complaints and the relevant follow up action required
13Create loyal and trustworthy staffs who take pride in their work, thereby providing the highest level of service possible
14In charge to create/innovate regular activities and events ( wine tasting )
15Participate in Eco Standard/Sustainable Responsibility set by the hotel
16Assist in preparing the annual wine sales plan and promotion matrix
17Review wine sales in all outlets on a regular basis
18Conduct wine inventories on a regular basis, together with the Cost Controller and the Food & Beverage Manager
19Meet target cost of sales and ensuring that all employees are aware of the targets in the department, including the monthly sales target
20Ensure the prices is up-to date
21Handle all materials and equipment to avoid breakages and perform inventories
22Ensure energy saving (electricity, gas, water)
23Inspect all outlets for clean, presentable and updated wine lists
24Ensure proper grooming of team members
25Ensure that all requests from guest are being attended to and all preferences are communicated to all departments concerned
 Responsible for:
26Ensure respective TMs are operating as per Quality Management System
27Ensure respective TMs are operating as per S&H regulations and policies
28Ensure briefings have been done to all TM
29Establish in line with the quality manager of all quality procedures and follow-up
30Ensure cleanliness of furniture, fixtures and equipments in respective fridge
31Comply with all the sustainability commitments and practices implemented within business units
32Notify the Sustainable Development Department of any matters that may pose any impact to the environment and society
