Perform basic maintenance of buildings, grounds and equipment

• Able to carry out basic maintenance activities - Electrical, Painting and Carpentry Work
• Able to test and perform basic repair all types of equipment
• Be responsible for the use and care of general tools, and ladder and steps maintenance with due regards to Health and Safety requirements
• Clean and maintain all water features (e.g main pond, pool)
• Perform routine landscaping on the grounds
• Undertake light installation or carpenting (e.g. build cabinets) 
• Basic knowledge of wood work, electrical and plumbing
• Assist with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs
• Putting up shelves, changing light bulbs, moving furniture, cleaning lamp shades, for the benefit and safety of staff and service users
• Deal with the general upkeep of the interior by painting and decorating
• Make the required routine checks on door closures, emergency lighting, firefighting equipment, and the fire alarm.
