We are looking to hire a detail-oriented HVAC / Kitchen technician to install, maintain and repair HVAC systems.

Tasks/Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and equipment to identify needed repairs.
• Performs repairs for the heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration systems in the hotel facilities.
• Maintain and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems throughout the hotel.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for maintenance assistance, including after-hours emergencies.
• Communicate with guests or staff to resolve any HVAC maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance for all HVAC units and refrigerators.
• Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment when required.
• Responsible for implementation of energy conservation techniques on HVAC systems.
• Communicate each day’s activities and problems that occur to the other shifts using approved hotels communication programs and standards.

Skills:

• Knowledgeable in methods to do advance troubleshooting of refrigerant system, control system and skilled in reclaiming refrigerant, insuring proper regulatory paperwork on same.
• Display basic computer skills including inputting air handler schedules and making temperature changes.
• Fluent both in Written and Oral English and French.
• Creative and Strategic thinker.
• Excellent organizational skills to plan and schedule regular maintenance tasks, inspections, and repairs, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Problem-solving abilities to quickly identify issues, determine their cause, and implement effective solutions.
• Physical fitness to perform tasks that may require heavy lifting, climbing, or other strenuous activities.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies promptly and efficiently.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 2-3 years minimum as HVAC/Kitchen Technician in 4- or 5-star hotel.
• Technical qualification (HVAC and or Machinal engineering).
