BDO IT Consulting Ltd is looking for an experienced HR & Talent Specialist to join our team. It's a challenging, fast-moving candidate-driven market, and the ideal candidate should be highly motivated and tenacious enough to keep up with the pace.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sourcing/Headhunting all levels of candidates for leading global businesses, covering the Mauritian and International markets.
  • Set up high level hiring strategies with a tailored approach.
  • Keep up-to-date with latest industry trends to ensure candidates can be evaluated against industry standards assessments.
  • Network online and offline with potential candidates to promote our brand and ensure we attract the best professionals.
  • Understand role requirements in order to source the most suitable candidates.
  • Write and post job descriptions on job boards, social media and any other relevant channels.
  • Consulting with managers or partners to discover staff requirements and specific job objectives.
  • Pre-screen candidates by performing phone interviews and organize interviews.
  • Update HR Recruitment System to ensure a solid pipeline of qualified candidates ensuring candidate data is kept updated.
  • Establish yearly calendar for hiring of graduates and internship as per managers requirements. Also liaise with universities for career fairs, workshops or other engagements.
  • Manage the Training & Certification Plan for designated teams.
  • Manage Appraisal of designated teams.
  • Prepare periodic reports for the HR Manager about how the recruiting process is proceeding.
  • Any other HR related tasks as and when assigned.

QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Minimum a Bachelor's degree in HR management or relevant field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in HR and Recruitment preferably in the recruitment of IT positions.
  • Knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques and candidate assessment methods.
  • Experience using platforms to source quality candidates.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and French.
  • Strong tenacity and ability to build a solid network.
  • Ability to understand and explain job requirements for various roles.
