• Prepare a payroll checklist and get it validated.
• Accurate processing of all payroll items, including timesheets within set deadlines.
• Perform statutory updates on the payroll system – CSG and PAYE
• Compliance to regulations - MRA.
• Ensure HR and Administration processes
PAYROLL
- Provide effective and efficient support to HR to ensure smooth running of the payroll
- Ensure that the payroll calendar deadlines are adhered to, and all payments are done on time
- Process payroll (enter data - benefits and deductions) and update payroll records
- Compile, monitor, verify and reconcile all financial data for the payroll
- Ensure accuracy of payroll master data
- Prepare bank payment instructions and obtain approval from designated signatories
- Send payment transfers and reports to bank
- Ensure salary advices are issued to all our employees across all regions
- Support/Assist external auditors with rationale and relevant documents
- Prepare monthly filing of CSG and PAYE returns within the time frame
- Prepare Financial and Operational reporting as needed
- Maintenance and update of the payroll system on time
HUMAN RESOURCES
- Maintain accurate data in SAP HR of the various countries and clusters
- Follow-up and execution of the entire recruitment process and selection of staffs
- Identify/organise training needs and development of local staffs while ensuring reimbursement by HRDC
- Maintain employees' personal files according to policy and legal requirements
- Ensure all contracts of employment and job descriptions are duly up to date
- Analysis of annual and sick leave
- On boarding, off boarding and induction of employees
- Provide support and guidance as and when required to staffs
- HR Reporting as and when needed
- Conduct exit interviews
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- A degree or Diploma in related field.
- 3-5 years’ experience in Payroll and HR Administration
- Knowledge of SICORAX will be an advantage
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- Well versed in English and French
- Good analytical skills
- Professional and confidential approach
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft tools and digital communication tools
- Understanding of good governance and ethical standards
- Ability to work on his/her own and meet tight deadlines
