Cernol is looking for an HR & Payroll Officer

 

Cernol Ltd is looking for a HR and Payroll Officer, who will be responsible for managing the payroll process and supporting the HR department in all employee-related matters. This role ensures the accurate and timely processing of payroll, compliance with labor laws, and effective HR operations including recruitment, employee benefits, and record management. The HR and Payroll Officer also provides support in maintaining employee data and addressing payroll-related issues.


Key Responsibilities

 

Payroll Management:

· Process monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy in salary calculations.

· Ensure compliance with tax regulations, pension contributions, and other statutory requirements.

· Prepare and submit payroll reports, ensuring all employees are paid on time.

· Manage and resolve payroll discrepancies, queries, or disputes raised by employees.

· Maintain up-to-date records of employee attendance, leave, and overtime for payroll purposes.

HR Administration:

· Support the HR department with day-to-day HR activities, including maintaining employee records.

· Assist in the recruitment process by preparing job descriptions, posting job ads, and scheduling interviews.

· Process new hires and terminations, ensuring that all necessary documents and information are accurately recorded.

· Coordinate employee onboarding, ensuring that new employees are integrated into the company smoothly.

· Manage employee benefits, such as health insurance, leave, and retirement plans.


Key Qualifications and Skills:

· Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources.

· Experience: 2-4 years of experience in payroll processing and HR administration.

· Proficiency in payroll systems and software, knowledge of HR software and systems (HRIS).

· Strong knowledge of payroll laws, labor regulations, and tax compliance.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing.

· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive employee issues.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

. Fluent in both French and English.
