The Human Resources Assistant works collaboratively with the HR members to manage the day to day HR operations efficiently.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Assist in the day to day HR operations in collaboration with the team.
- Maintain proper records of staffs’ personal information.
- Assist in recruitment process including job adverts, shortlist candidates, conduct interviews and selection process.
- Conduct on boarding program for new employees for a smooth integration to the organisation.
- Assist different departments with relevant employee information.
- Undertake administrative activities related to payroll, employee welfare and employee grievances.
- Perform dormitory visits as and when required.
- Contribute in HR projects and events as and when needed.
- Promote workplace safety in collaboration with the Safety & Health Officer.
- Perform any other cognate duties
PROFILE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of HR practices and processes
- Previous experience as a HR member in distribution or textile industry will be an advantage
- Well versed with MS Office & Outlook
- Conversant with Mauritian law/legislations
- High sense of Confidentiality & Integrity
