Responsibilities

Welcome guests and inform them of their itineraries.

Accompany guests on quads, 4x4 and trekking.

Promote awareness, understanding and appreciation of the natural features of the property.

Inform guests about the history of the Domaine, geology, flora and fauna and animal life on the property.

Describe points of interest along the tour and answer questions as and when required.

Give attention to details and to company procedures to ensure safety and overall positive guest experience.

Conduct complete inspection of all equipment in use, including the quads.

Deal with emergencies during the tour – injury, illness etc.

Maintain written report of daily activities.

Undertake debriefing sessions upon tour completion.

Any other duties as may be assigned by Management.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Working experience of at least one year in a similar position/industry would be an advantage.

Dynamic and motivated individual, coupled with a high level of integrity.

Good communication skills. Fluent in English and French. Ability to listen and converse with guests throughout the tour.

Organised and able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.

Able to manage priorities and meet deadlines.

Able to work on a shift system, on public holidays, weekends and at irregular hours when needed.

Any equivalent combination of qualification and experience.

Living in the Grand-Port & Savanne regions will constitute an advantage.
