A Guest Relation Officer is a customer service-oriented employee who essentially greets hotel guests. From escorting guests to rooms to assisting in arranging reservations, Guest Relation Officers ensure a pleasant and satisfying stay at a hotel.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1 | Take part in training and implement accordingly |
2 | Keep superior informed about all unusual matters concerning any plans affecting his/her area |
3 | Welcome Guests and assist for check-in / check-out purposes |
4 | Accompany Guests in their room & conduct hotel visit with Guests |
5 | Provide explanations to Guests with regard to room amenities and equipment |
6 | Conduct efficiently and effectively hotel visits |
7 | Attend to Guests’ complaints and liaise with HOD concerned for remedial actions |
8 | Give relevant and up-to-date information to Guests |
9 | Coordinate Guests wedding and any other special events |
10 | Collect Guests comments |
11 | Update Guests complaints |
12 | Compile Guests preferences |
13 | Promote upselling |
14 | Minimize wastage |
15 | Prepare daily events and forward to all departments |
16 | Comply with all the sustainability commitments and practices implemented within business units |
17 | Notify the Sustainable Development Department of any matters that may pose any impact to the environment and society |
