The Group Brand Strategy and Communications Manager ensures the continuity and evolution of Constance Hotels’ existing brand strategy, reinforcing its identity and positioning as a leader in luxury hospitality. The position is based in the Head Office of Constance, Centre de Flacq.

 

JOB SUMMARY

The Group Brand Strategy and Communications Manager ensures the continuity and evolution of Constance Hotels’ existing brand strategy, reinforcing its identity and positioning as a leader in luxury hospitality. This role oversees all internal and external communications, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging across all channels. The focus is on strengthening Constance’s brand presence in key markets, engaging target audiences, and driving brand loyalty.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Brand Strategy Development:
    • Ensure the continuity and evolution of Constance Hotels’ existing brand strategy, reinforcing its identity and positioning it as a leader in luxury hospitality.
    • Adapt the strategy to reflect changing market dynamics, customer insights, and global trends, maintaining consistent brand guidelines across all communication channels.
    • Lead the strategic branding efforts for new projects, ensuring alignment with Constance Hotels' core identity and values, while effectively positioning them within the luxury hospitality market.
    • Drive strategic initiatives that elevate brand perception, considering target markets, customer insights, and global trends.
    • Develop brand guidelines that ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity across all communication channels.
    • Collaborate with leadership and other departments to align brand strategy with business objectives and core values.

 

  • Integrated Communications:
    • Lead the development and implementation of cohesive internal and external communication strategies, ensuring alignment with the overall brand strategy.
    • Ensure messaging consistency across various communication platforms, including press releases, brochures, internal memos, and other marketing materials.

 

  • Media and Public Relations:
    • Build and nurture strong relationships with local and international media to generate positive coverage and strengthen Constance’s reputation in strategic markets.
    • Coordinate media briefings, press conferences, and interviews to enhance brand visibility and engagement.

 

  • Production of Visual Content:
    • Oversee the production of high-quality videos, photos, and other visual content that aligns with the brand strategy, ensuring they communicate the brand’s essence effectively.
    • Manage content creation for use in campaigns, presentations, promotional materials, and internal communication, ensuring they resonate with target audiences.

 

  • Event Management:
    • Plan, organize, and oversee brand-centric events, exhibitions, and promotional activities that enhance visibility and engagement with key stakeholders.
    • Lead and coordinate events in collaboration with strategic partners to create meaningful brand experiences for guests, clients, and partners.

 

  • Sponsorships and Partnerships:
    • Identify and pursue strategic sponsorship opportunities that align with brand values, negotiating terms to maximize brand exposure and impact.
    • Foster partnerships with high-profile organizations and brands that enhance Constance’s positioning as a leading luxury hospitality brand.

 

  • Internal Communication:
    • Collaborate closely with HR to strengthen internal communications, ensuring that employees understand and embody the brand’s values and ethos.
    • Develop campaigns and initiatives that engage employees, fostering a sense of pride and alignment with Constance’s brand identity.

 

  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the communications and brand team, ensuring high performance, creativity, and professional growth.
    • Set clear goals, provide constructive feedback, and encourage innovation within the team to drive brand excellence.

 

  • Benchmarking and Analysis:
    • Continuously benchmark brand and communication strategies against competitors, identifying opportunities for differentiation and growth.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to management based on regular assessments of brand performance and market trends.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, branding or a related field required; master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in brand management or communications, with strategic management experience.
  • Proven track record in brand-building and communications, preferably in luxury or hospitality sectors.

  • Ability to create compelling visual and written content that aligns with brand strategy.
