As a graphic Designer, you will be responsible for executing a diverse array of marketing and communications initiatives and assignments while adhering to the guidelines set forth by Baker Tilly International.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design graphics and layout for proposals, marketing and brand collateral, presentations, social media, and website content.
- Update marketing collateral and InDesign templates.
- Retouch and edit images for various platforms.
- Assist with social media including content creation and design.
- Help organize and maintain digital assets.
- Design/artwork as per specified norms that comply with guidelines from Baker Tilly International.
- Modify and prepare materials in required format and size to meet the required printing specifications.
- Work closely with various internal teams to understand their needs and deliver tailored design solutions.
- Advise and guide on design best practices, trends, and tools to improve the quality of all visual content produced.
- Provide design support for webinars, conferences, and networking events, including event branding and promotional materials.
- Create engaging designs for the firm's website, ensuring it aligns with the latest trends and is user-friendly.
- Develop graphics for online campaigns, ensuring they are optimized for various platforms, including social media, blogs, and email marketing.
- Capture, edit, and produce high-quality images or videos for internal and external use, such as websites, social media, and promotional materials.
- Assist with video editing for webinars, video messages, or promotional content.
- Review all design materials before submission or publication to ensure accuracy, professionalism, and compliance with brand guidelines.
- Gather feedback from key stakeholders and refine designs as necessary to meet the firm’s needs and expectations.
- Design print and digital marketing collateral including brochures, flyers, email templates, newsletters, banners, and advertisements.
- Collaborate with the business development team to create assets for social media platforms, websites, and internal communication channels.
- Ensure consistency of visual identity across all platforms and materials.
- Design professional and visually appealing presentations, reports, proposals, and other client-facing documents.
- Ensure that design work aligns with the firm's branding guidelines and corporate identity.
- Develop infographics, charts, and data visualizations to enhance presentations in a clear and engaging manner.
- Perform any other cognate duties related to the department as delegated by the Reporting Line.
Skills & Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, or a related field. (and/or relevant practical experience)
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience.
- Expertise with Adobe Create Suite. (InDesign Photoshop & Illustrator)
- High Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. (Word, PowerPoint & Excel)
- Strong written communication and proofreading abilities with an eye for accuracy, consistency, and detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with teams.
- Experience with creating engaging content for social media channels. (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook etc…)
- Knowledge of photography and video editing experience a plus.
- Outgoing personality with excellent communication and writing skills.
- Knowledge of Mac OS and software upgrades and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment.
- Good organisational and planning skills.
