Graduate Trainee ( Marketing and Communication)

This traineeship provides an opportunity for at an early stage in their career to support the Marketing team of SGG Mauritius.

The successful candidate will support all aspects of communications  , both internal and external, across the organisation. Hands-on training, monitoring and feedback from the communications team will be provided throughout the placement and an evaluation review conducted at completion. 

The Communications Trainee requires excellent communication skills at all levels, both written and oral, and a keen eye for detail and design. Ideally, the successful candidate will have prior experience in a communications role .They will also be confident in liaising with senior. The Communications Trainee will play an integral role within marketing team and as such must be highly organised and able to work under pressure. They will be expected to generate ideas.

Required qualification,experience & skills:

-Degree in Communication or any related field with very good results in English and French

- Excellent communications skills, both written and oral

- Excellent research and fact-checking skills

-  Previous experience in writing and/ or proof-reading

-  A flair for design and passionate about writing  

- Confidence and self-motivation to support all aspects of the Communications team
