BDO IT Consulting Ltd is looking for a diligent Governance and Risk Specialist who will be responsible for providing governance and risk advisory services to the company's clients.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Governance Strategy and Policies:
    • Develop and implement governance policies and procedures for the company and its clients.
    • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
    • Advise management on best practices in governance.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify, assess, and prioritize risks for the company and its clients.
    • Develop and implement risk management plans.
    • Monitor and analyze risk indicators and propose corrective actions.
  • Compliance (for the company):
    • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
    • Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to company policies.
    • Prepare compliance reports for management and regulators.
  • Training and Awareness:
    • Train staff and clients on governance, risk, and compliance issues.
    • Promote a culture of risk management and compliance within the company and among clients.
  •  Client Relations:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
    • Propose and sell governance and risk advisory services.
    • Ensure high-quality service delivery to clients.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • University degree in Management, Law, Finance, or a related field.
  • Significant experience (5-7 years) in governance and risk management.
  • Deep knowledge of governance standards and current regulations.
  • Experience in project management and team leadership.
  • Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures
  • Ability to conduct risk assessments and identify vulnerabilities
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Experience in managing internal audits
  • ISO 27001 Lead Auditor Certification is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA) are a plus
