BDO IT Consulting Ltd is looking for a diligent Governance and Risk Specialist who will be responsible for providing governance and risk advisory services to the company's clients.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Governance Strategy and Policies:
- Develop and implement governance policies and procedures for the company and its clients.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Advise management on best practices in governance.
- Identify, assess, and prioritize risks for the company and its clients.
- Develop and implement risk management plans.
- Monitor and analyze risk indicators and propose corrective actions.
- Compliance (for the company):
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to company policies.
- Prepare compliance reports for management and regulators.
- Train staff and clients on governance, risk, and compliance issues.
- Promote a culture of risk management and compliance within the company and among clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Propose and sell governance and risk advisory services.
- Ensure high-quality service delivery to clients.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- University degree in Management, Law, Finance, or a related field.
- Significant experience (5-7 years) in governance and risk management.
- Deep knowledge of governance standards and current regulations.
- Experience in project management and team leadership.
- Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and identify vulnerabilities
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Experience in managing internal audits
- ISO 27001 Lead Auditor Certification is preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA) are a plus
