We are currently seeking a talented and driven Manager to join our team at Chamarel 7 coloured Earth.

 

Overview of the Role:

The Geopark Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Chamarel 7 Coloured Earth and ensure its positioning as a leading destination in the region. The role involves driving operational excellence, leading key projects, managing financial performance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, all while delivering a high-quality visitor experience.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the park to ensure seamless visitor experiences and operational efficiency.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance current operations and spearhead new projects to maintain the park's competitive edge.
  • Drive business decisions that ensure operational excellence, with a focus on quality services and process optimization.
  • Oversee the park's financial performance, ensuring budget targets are met and profitability is maintained.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive monthly reports on the park's performance and initiatives.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including visitors, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Build and develop organizational capabilities in alignment with the park's strategic objectives.
  • Foster a high-performance culture, emphasizing continuous learning, growth, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards at all times
  • Drive initiatives to promote sustainability and preserve the unique natural and cultural heritage of the park.

 

Candidate's Profile:

  • Diploma or Degree in Management or a related field.
  • Equivalent qualifications in tourism, hospitality, or leisure management will be advantageous.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar or equivalent position, ideally within the tourism, hospitality, or leisure industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex operations and lead diverse teams.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive mindset with excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with financial management, including budgeting and reporting.
