Adecco is an International HR and Consultancy firm. Our client, an advertising agency, is looking for a General Manager.

Our client, an advertising agency, is looking for a General Manager.

Reporting to the board of Directors, the successful candidate will manage the agency with the assistance of the Finance/Administrative Officer.

Main responsibilities:

• Maintain and build client relationships.
• Maintain and develop media house relationships.
• Negotiations with Media houses.
• Build, nurture and motivate the employees.
• Be responsible for growing agency billings.
• Hands on in terms of devising Media Strategy; Media Planning and Buying.
• Analyze and interpret media statistics.
• Knowledge across all channels i.e.TV; Radio; Print and Digital etc.
• Bringing value to the company.

Qualification:

• Bachelor in Advertising/Marketing or Media and Communication.
• Master Degree in Media.
• 5-10 years working experience in a small to medium sized company.

Candidate profile:

• Good knowledge of media landscape in Mauritius.
• Good presentation and negotiation skills.
• Should know how to interpret and present financial figures, forecast and budgets to the board.
