Qualification: Holder of a diploma/degree in automobile mechanics or mechanical engineering or an equivalent qualification or experience in the relevant field

Responsibilities: Responsible for the management and operations of the garages of the company

Duties

• To ensure proper and timely repair/maintenance and servicing of vehicles
• Plan and develop work schedules and ensure discipline at work
• Ability to understand and resolve mechanical issues
• Prepare annual budget and track on the objectives set
• Submit daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reports as regards to the department performance
• Provide training as and when needed
• Develop and implement quality standards to be followed in the repairs and maintenance of vehicles
• Ensure that all tools and equipment are in good working condition
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Reporting to the Managing Director or to an officer designated by the company
