The Lux Collective is hiring for the position of GROUPS & INCENTIVES MANAGER at its Regional Headquarters based at Floréal.
The successful incumbent will:
- Act as a contact between LUX* Resorts & Hotels in Mauritius, Reunion Island, Zanzibar and Tamassa Bel Ombre and their existing and potential markets/ partners and therefore always provides excellent customer service.
- Attend meetings/visits with potential clients to prospect new business.
- Draft proposals and provides clients with quotes in a timely manner.
- Prepare invoices, contracts and event orders.
- Closely monitor payments follow-ups to ensure payments are in before clients arrive.
- Ensure proper insertion of bookings in the Opera system.
- Set departmental targets and review departmental sales performance and aim to meet or exceed targets.
- Represent LUX* Resorts & Hotels in Mauritius, Reunion Island, Zanzibar and Tamassa Bel Ombre at trade exhibitions/events/fairs/demonstrations.
- Compile sales figures on a monthly and share with reporting line and Revenue department.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least a Higher School Certificate or equivalent qualifications.
- Tertiary education at Degree Level in Sales, Marketing or Tourism Management from a recognised institution or equivalent qualifications.
PREVIOUS PERFORMANCE
- A minimum of 10 years of working experience in Sales and/or Marketing in the hospitality industry.
- A minimum of 3 years of working experience at managerial level or similar position in a 4 /5 star resort.

- A good level of numeracy.
- Excellent verbal/ written communication skills in both English and French.

- A valid driver’s license.
