JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced English and/or French professional language trainer to deliver remote lessons via videoconference and phone to a client base composed of executives and professionals. The ideal candidate will adapt their teaching methods to the specific needs of learners, enabling them to develop their language skills for professional settings.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver English and/or French professional language lessons via videoconference and phone.
  • Assess learners’ needs and objectives to create tailored training plans.
  • Use innovative and interactive teaching methods adapted to professional contexts (meetings, presentations, negotiations, email writing, etc.).
  • Provide practical exercises and realistic scenarios to improve oral and written skills.
  • Offer regular feedback and track learners’ progress effectively.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching materials and resources.

 

Desired Profile:

  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and/or French (professional level required).
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in language teaching, preferably with a professional audience.
  • Education: Degree in languages, education, or a related field (TESOL, TEFL certification, or equivalent is a plus).
  • Teaching Skills:
    • Ability to assess learners’ needs and personalize lessons accordingly.
    • Proficiency in using digital tools for teaching (Teams.)
    • Knowledge of business practices and professional vocabulary.
  • Personal Qualities:
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to motivate learners.
    • Highly organized, reliable, and adaptable.
    • Active listening skills and results-driven approach.
