To maximise the efficiency of restaurant service by controlling access, being aware of requirements and communicating with the areas involved with service, and to manage staggered reservations system.
RESPONSIBILITIE
Greets and seats the maximum number of guests coming into the restaurants, as per welcoming SOP.
Converses with guests to obtain feedback and suggestion for improvement.
Identifies any particular requirements customers may have.
Provides facilities to guests by supplying information on the restaurants.
Communicates guests’, visitors’ or repeaters’ preference of meals, drinks, cocktails and special requirements (e.g. allergies).
Handles customer complaints efficiently through appropriate interaction and action and/or referral to Management.
Offers assistance to handicapped guests.
Checks and confirms all reservations and records them in the appropriate logbook.
Promotes the different outlets and various theme nights and F&B events by informing clients.
Ensures, in conjunction with the F&B Secretary, that all menus are produced accurately and on time, and can be lead to type menus, in case of last-minute needs or of the absence of the F&B Secretary.
