Finance Officer

Rogers Capital Finance Ltd is looking for a Finance officer to assist in the day-to-day challenges of the Finance department.

Overview: 

Rogers Capital Finance Ltd is looking for a Finance officer to assist in the day-to-day challenges of the Finance department. The successful candidate should have great communication skills and show close attention to details, along with a proven record of accomplishment in Finance and Accounting studies. We also value those who are ready to learn and adapt with a fast-paced work environment.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Maintain accounting records, including accounts payable, general ledger, and other financial data.
• Process and reconcile supplier invoices and involved in accounts payable operations.
• Perform cashbook data entries and bank reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements.
• Maintain all required sub schedules to balance sheet and profit and loss.
• Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely periodic/ad hoc reports and analysis.
• Maintain fixed asset register.
• Assist in VAT, TDS and other statutory filings.
• Assist in internal & external audit process.
• Assist in finance-related projects as required.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and ensure accuracy of information.
• Ensure prompt and proper filing of documents and records.
• Assist the Finance Manager / Senior Finance Officer as required.

 Your profile: 

• Diploma in Accounting and/or ACCA - Partly Qualified.
• At least 2 years' experience as a Finance Officer or other similar position.
• Good practical experience with financial software and MS Excel.
• Experience in Accounts payable would be an advantage.
• Strong analytical capabilities and attention to details.
• Good time management skills.
• Outgoing personality, result oriented, orderly and excellent team player.
• Strong sense of ethics.
