Key responsibilities:
- Prepare Financial Statements, Budget and other financial reports
- Manage cash flow & prepare monthly MIS and handle Fund management
- Liaise directly with auditors and internal or external clients and stake holders as and when required to and resolve queries.
- Oversee and supervise work of Accounting Team to ensure correct and timely completion of activities assigned.
- Making various papers on processes and approvals with regard to job assigned in areas of Finance/Treasury and Administration.
- Compliance with internal policies and procedures and adherence with relevant accounting procedure manuals.
- Creating value by improvising process, bringing new ideas to table for improving process , having better checks so as to ensure better operational and financial efficiency.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified ACCA or equivalent professional qualification in Accounting/Finance
- Knowledge of IFRS, Income Tax Act and statutory provisions (VAT/Customs0, required for maintaining financial statements and filling returns.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office tools. Working Knowledge of Accounting Software SAP would be an added advantage for the applicant
- Good interpersonal skills to ensure effective working relationships with colleagues abroad.
- Well organised, analytical and resourceful
- Have a methodical approach with attention to detail, be able to quickly assess and act on changing priorities.
- Ability to solve problems and work independently and as a member of a team.
- Valid driving license and own vehicle is desirable.
