Integhr’s aim is to assist emerging and established organizations to acquire the professional and talented employees needed. Our client, a Domestic Company situated in Roche Noires providing the services of painting, waterproofing etc is looking for a Facility Officer.

 

The Facility Officer will be responsible for pitching sales as well as maintaining services for clients onboarded.

Role

The Facility Officer will undertake the following duties:-

 

Task & Responsibilities

 

  • Managing refurbishments, renovations;
  • General upkeep and maintenance of buildings;
    • Ensure that they meet health & safety requirements as well as all legal aspects;
    • Manage cleaning, waste disposal, security & parking of each site;
    • Manage budgets and keep records of all payments;
    • Need to manage the IT & office equipment in some cases;
    • Ensure that basic facilities such as water, electricity are well maintained;
    • Drafting reports and making written recommendations.

 

Skills/Educational Profile

Knowledge

  • Technical knowledge of building services;
  • Relevant public, industry, private sector operations (Acts, Regulations, professional standards);

 

Skills

  • Technical skills relating to building & property;
  • Management skills;
  • Well-developed presentation and communication skills;
  • PC word processing, spreadsheet & data base preparation & evaluation skills;
  • Report writing dealing with detailed, complex & technical concepts;
  • Sound interpersonal and negotiation skills;
  • Decision making, analytical & problem solving skills;
  • Organization, time management, able to handle complex and/or varied load work;
  • Interpretation of legislative & professional standards.

 

Qualifications/Experience

  • Qualification in Engineering or degree in Facilities Management or Management (not a must)
  • At least 2-5 years’ experience in a similar field;
  • Interpretation and application of legislation and relevant industry standards.
