Facilities Manager – Newry Complex, Quatre Bornes

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of Newry Complex, a 6 story office complex located in the heart of Quatre Bornes.

 

This role is ideal for a highly organized individual with strong problem-solving skills and a
proactive attitude to ensure the smooth management of the building, its rentals, maintenance, and
daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Rental Management:
o Coordinate and manage tenant rentals, including lease agreements, renewals, and
terminations.
o Maintain positive relationships with tenants, addressing inquiries and concerns
promptly. Making sure that any vacant space is put on the market for rental
effectively.
o Ensure timely collection of rents and maintain accurate financial records.

Facilities Maintenance:
o Oversee regular maintenance and repair activities to ensure the building remains
in excellent condition.
o Manage existing staff and service providers for cleaning, security, landscaping,
and technical support.
o Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address issues
proactively.
Operations Management:
o Ensure the smooth functioning of day-to-day activities within the complex.
o Supervise and coordinate staff, including maintenance personnel and
administrative support.
o Monitor compliance with health, safety, and security standards. Keeping all
licenses, permits and certificates up to date.

Budget and Reporting:
o Develop and manage the operational budget, including maintenance and utilities
expenses.
o Provide regular reports to the property owner on financial performance,
occupancy, and operational matters.

Requirements:
- Proven management experience in property or facilities management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in budgeting and basic financial management.
- Familiarity with building maintenance and operations.

The position is flexible, and we are open to considering both full-time and part-time employment arrangements. This role is particularly well-suited for candidates who reside within a reasonable commuting distance, ensuring convenience and reliability in fulfilling job responsibilities.
