We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Export Officer to ensure the seamless execution of our export operations.

 

The successful candidate will be pivotal in managing export processes, from generating accurate documentation to coordinating production and logistics, all while meeting strict deadlines and maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Coordination:

  • Prepare precise proforma invoices, ensuring the inclusion of accurate price lists, discounts, and promotional details.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods to prevent overstocking and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Determine and communicate Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) based on client requirements.
  • Provide regular updates to clients regarding order status and shipment progress.

 

2. Production and Order Management:

  • Proactively follow up on production schedules to align with the Estimated Time of Departure (ETD).
  • Oversee order preparation, prioritizing efficiency and adherence to export timelines.

 

3. Logistics Coordination:

  • Source and evaluate quotations for shipments to secure the best pricing.
  • Manage container bookings and ensure accurate documentation for customs clearance, including certifications of origin.
  • Supervise stuffing operations, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations and deadlines.

 

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of international trade compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of finance and budget management principles.
  • Ability to utilize and understand relevant technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills to foster client and team relationships.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with acute attention to detail.

 

Education and Experience:

  • A diploma / bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a customs warehouse or a similar role is essential.
  • Experience in preparing customs and shipping documentation is highly advantageous.
  • Applicants without prior experience but with a strong interest in export operations and the necessary skills are encouraged to apply.
