Estimator - Project and Tender

The role of the Project Engineer is to plan, organise and deliver tender and projects timeously. He / She will constantly maintain communication with with team members, architects, M&E consultants and drawing consultants.

DESCRIPTION

• Ensure follow up and execution of projects
• Produces isometric drawings at tendering stage.
• Estimates quantities of materials/labour and their pricing.
• Files BOQ using Excel or any other appropriate software.
• Prepares technical documentation to be submitted with tenders and quotations.
• Ensures that tenders/quotations are done and submitted on time.
• To attend all tender queries in a timely manner.

PROFILE

• A Diploma or any equivalent in Engineering would constitute an advantage.
• A minimum of 2 years work experience in as project engineer or estimator
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Suit applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and French.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, prospecting, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Demonstrate aptitude for problem solving.
• Must be results- orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
