DESCRIPTION Created in 1989 and a member of CIEL Textile, CDL is a fully integrated knitting, dyeing and finishing mill located in Forest Side. With a workforce over 400, CDL produces fabric for the fine knits garment-making industry.

CDL is currently looking for Electro Technicians to maintain, troubleshoot and repair electronic equipments.
The Electro Technicians shall be reporting to the Electrical Supervisor.

What you will be doing:

  • Troubleshoot dyeing machines, finishing machines and automated systems during breakdowns.
  • Carry preventive maintenance on textile machineries
  • Consult manuals for accurate information before intervention on a system
  • Ensure that a high quality service is provided

What are we looking for?

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering/ Brevet de Technicien/ Brevet de Technicien Supérieur (BTS) or NT3 in Electronic/Electric
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a textile industrial environment, preferably in dyeing and finishing sections
  • Strong knowledge of textile industrial machineries, industrial communication protocols such as CAN bus and Profibus, Siemens and Schneider PLCs  would be an advantage
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams.
  • Strong knowledge about wiring of sensors, motors and invertors.
  • Knowledge of boiler operation systems and automation protocols
  • Knowledge about pneumatic systems, automatic chemical dispensing systems, siemens, danfoss, mitsubishi and lenze invertors.
  • Knowledge of PLCs in general.
