QBL is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems and equipment.

 

Key responsibilities:

  1. Installation and assembly
  • Design electrical circuits , wiring circuits, assembling control panels and connecting motors.
  • Installing Electrical and mechanical components in machines and system.
  1. Maintenance and repair
  • Conducting preventive maintenance on machineries.
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults in electrical and mechanical systems
  • Replacing or fixing motors, sensors, gears. Belts and other components.
  • Knowledge in pneumatics is a great advantage
  1. Troubleshooting and testing.
  • Using diagnostic tools like multimeter, clamp meter and other tools to identify malfunctions in electro mechanical systems.
  1. Reading and interpreting Technical Documents
  • Understanding electrical diagrams ,schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Following safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
  1. Fabrication and Modification.
  • Using tools like drills, angle grinder, soldering irons.
  1. Automation and control system
  • Knowledge in PLC . (optional)
  • Working with electro-pneumatic system ( solenoid valves ,PLC control )
  1. Safety and compliance.
  • Ensuring all works follows workplace safety standards.
  • Handling electrical components safely to avoid hazards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or technical diploma in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in an electro-mechanical technician role

  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, control systems, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), motors, gears, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

  • Tools and Equipment: Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools, test equipment, and hand tools for electrical and mechanical repairs.

  • Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in both electrical and mechanical systems.
