The Employee Relations employee is specialized and focused on the execution and delivery of HR Policies and Internal Controls Compliance services and assess risk, ensuring awareness and enforce compliance to policy requirements, core values and code of business ethics.

 

The Employee Relations employee is specialized and focused on the execution and delivery of HR Policies and Internal Controls Compliance services and assess risk, ensuring awareness and enforce compliance to policy requirements, core values and code of business ethics.

 

The Employee Relations person builds knowledge and expertise on HR policy and Employee Relations matters, manage execution and operational direction of HR Internal Controls across Market Unit countries, and drive management of people matters including investigations, managed departures, disciplinary process.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as a policy counsel and subject matter expert for all HR policies to the HR representatives.
  • Support local & offshore HR Partners teams for the given MU, in managing sensitive employee situations and to review instances of employee misconduct, including investigating and recommending disciplinary action weighing the extent of violation, fairness of action and local employment laws.
  • Assist the Corporate Investigations team in reviewing Business Ethics Line matters and conducting local employee investigations.
  • Assess policy issues in regard to legal risk; work with legal advisors to ensure compliance to and understanding legislation.
  • Proactively lead the delivery and deployment of new ER Practices and review/redefine existing ones.
  • Ensure continuous improvement by actively identifying gaps, proposing, and implementing changes and innovative solutions.
  • Develop metrics and leverage on analytics to track progress of ER programs and create comprehensive review decks for Leadership team.
  • Build and maintain online repository of knowledge updates best practices for easy access and retrieval.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in the human resources management or equivalent.

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 3 to 4 years experience within HR and/or Labor Law.

 

KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENT:

  • Must be fluent in both English and French (speaking and writing).
  • Able to analyze and solve moderately complex problems.
  • Capable of creating new solutions and adjusting existing methods as necessary.
  • Understands the strategic direction set by senior management in relation to team goals.
  • Possesses negotiation skills and can manage conflicts effectively.
  • Experienced in program management and design.
  • Proficient in data analytics and interpretation.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management.
  • Demonstrates strong business understanding.
