The Duty Leader is responsible of overseeing and coordinating the activities of the department during the “off-business hours” to ensure that critical site coverage is being provided and any incident is being attended to.
The Duty Leader is responsible of overseeing and coordinating the activities of the department during the “off-business hours” to ensure that critical site coverage is being provided and any incident is being attended to. This role perform quality audits to uphold the service standard level on site, provide support as and when required by the management and support the training and coaching activities on field.
Main Duties:
- Ensure that ascertaining activity of security guards planned to be on duty at their respective sites is conducted as per internal procedures.
- Attend any major incident that may occur during the night shift. An incident report should be sent to the management for follow-up with the client.
- Participate in the deployment of training to the field team – preparation of training calendar, reporting training hours, communicate any talent detected.
- Assist in enquiries as and when required by the management.
- Perform quality audits on sites to ensure the respect of SOP and the smooth running of the site operations day and night.
- Report any quality gaps to the concerned leader for corrective actions which need to be taken.
- Conduct audit on books and registers on site and insert certification – Any anomaly detected should be reported to the management.
- Perform inventories of Brinks assets on visited site, complete reporting and inform on discrepancies to the management.
- Identify and report any safety or security hazards on the sites to the management.
- Work in collaboration with Logistics for night check activity.
- Attend with urgency any incident occurring on site when performing night check
- Prepare weekly or monthly KPIs in accordance to the departments’ requirements as per Brink’s Standard
Knowledge & Experience:
- HSC with any equivalent experience
- Proven experience of a minimum of 3 years in people management
- Knowledge and/or experience of 5 years in security services
- At ease with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook)
- Can manage a CCTV system
- Physically fit
- Holder of a Valid Certificate of Character
- High sense of ethics and integrity
- Driving Licence (Private car – Manual Gear)
