Job Description

• Create detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts based on project requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers, and project manager to develop accurate and high-quality drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Ability to work in a contracting environment.
• Ability to interpret drawings both on architectural and engineering level.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback and changes in project scope.
• Maintain drawing databases and document control systems.
• Assist in preparing material take-offs, cost estimates, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of drawings and deliverables.
• Stay updated on industry trends, software tools, and best practices in drafting and design.

Candidate profile

• Diploma in Industrial Design or Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering or Architecture or related field.
• Proven experience as a Draughtsman, preferably in the metal or construction industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD 2D and 3D etc.) and drafting tools.
• Strong technical drawing skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and construction methods.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
