Aqua Science is seeking to recruit a Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Draughtsman located at Port Louis. The M&E Draughtsman will be responsible for creating technical diagrams and plans related to projects.
Job Description
- Coordinate and liaise with Technical Department and Sales team in preparation of M&E drawings
- Technical drawing production, design details and site survey when required.
- Ability to initiate new drawing as well as modify existing drawings
- Other cognate duties as may be assigned
- Strong technical and mathematical skills with a keen eye for accuracy and detail.
- Ability to work independently but also as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the construction or engineering industry is a plus.
Qualification & Required Skills.
- Certificate in Autocad with minimum 2 years of proven experience in similar position.
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD / Revit and other relevant software.
- Experience in MEP Drawings would be an advantage
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical team members clearly and effectively.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- A valid driving licence
