Reporting to the CEO, the Development Manager`s main responsibilities will be to lead the strategic planning and execution of development projects within Ascencia.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop innovative concepts and design solutions that align with market trends and consumer preferences.
- Set up project teams to ensure a clear guidance from project inception to project delivery
- Oversee all aspects of projects, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contractor/vendor management, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Drive leasing activities and tenant coordination efforts for each development project, to optimize tenant mix and enhance the retail experience for shoppers.
- Cultivate strong relationships with tenants, local authorities, and community stakeholders to support project approvals
- Conduct market analysis and feasibility studies to identify growth opportunities and inform development strategies.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying or any other recognised equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar environment
- Self starter who is target-driven and motivated – must be comfortable in a target oriented environment
