Our company is looking for a Demi Chef de Partie to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure food stuffs are of a good quality and stored correctly;
- Be environmentally aware;
- Prepare and present high quality dishes within company guidelines;
- Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues;
- Prepare all mis-en-place for all relevant menus;
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships;
- Contribute to controlling costs, improving gross profit margins, and other departmental and financial targets;
- Assist in positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner;
- Keep all working areas clean and tidy and ensure no cross contamination;
- Assist with the maximisation of F&B revenue through effective food cost control;
- Produce consistent quality specialised meals;
- Assist to supervise your section, including development of Team Members;
- Work closely with our Chef De Partie and Sous Chefs;
- Assist in developing and delivering menus that ensure satisfaction;
- Keep up to date with culinary trends.
Requirements:
- Ability to work on your own or in teams;
- Positive attitude;
- Formal qualification in culinary arts from a recognized culinary training institution;
- Good English language, both verbal and written;
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Good communication skills.
