Cybersecurity Consultant

Role Description

SAI is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cybersecurity Consultant to join their Digital Security division. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in designing, implementing, and managing information security and data privacy systems. They will be responsible for conducting vulnerability assessments, maintaining network, information and application security, as well as providing cybersecurity services to clients on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain information security, cybersecurity, and data protection management systems
• Support clients in achieving compliance with security and personal data protection standards and regulations
• Develop information security policies, guidelines, processes, and procedures
• Conduct security assessments and provide recommendations for remediation
• Implement secure SDLC, secure coding, and security by design best practices
• Discover security vulnerabilities in web and mobile applications and provide remediation steps
• Enforce smart CI/CD security tooling
• Identify and fix vulnerabilities in source code and product designs
• Develop training on secure coding techniques and security awareness for technical staff

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience delivering information security and infrastructure security reviews
• Security qualification(s) such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CISA, SSCP, ISO 27001, or equivalent
• Knowledge and application of information security frameworks and methodologies
• Advanced understanding of security protocols, cryptography, and security
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Agile process and principles
• Customer service orientation with good problem-solving and analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels

Desirable

• Experience implementing multi-factor authentication
• Experience implementing security solutions
• A well developed, practical understanding of Google Workspace solution
• A well developed, practical understanding of SaaS technologies
• Competence in Project Management best practices
