The Cost Control Analyst is responsible for processing/auditing airline tariffs, classify costs, analyze data, and resolve client issues efficiently. They'll also perform cost control activities and assist with implementation projects as needed.

 

The Cost Control Analyst is responsible for processing/auditing airline tariffs, classify costs, analyze data, and resolve client issues efficiently. They'll also perform cost control activities and assist with implementation projects as needed.

Responsibilities:

DATA PROCESSING

  • Collecting and  registering  all  incoming invoices.
  • Checking with suppliers / tariff team regarding incorrect invoices.
  • Reconcile invoices with calculated costs
  • Gap analysis and raising of claims when needed
  • Follow-up on claims with the suppliers
  • Monitor the provisional costs
  • Respond to information requests by searching and escalating to the supervisor as appropriate.
  • Produce standard correspondence by following existing templates.
  • Meet established goals and objectives for client deliverable.

QUALITY CONTROL

  • Conduct data verification; audit own data entry for accuracy and make required corrections.
  • Correct and log errors through established procedures.
  • Take corrective actions for errors detected.

FUNCTIONAL

  • Become a subject matter expert for complex processes or sub-processes.
  • May serve as a technical and functional resource or super user to other team members.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives or special projects as assigned.
  • Participate in client conference call.

PROFILE AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in the above fields is preferred.
  • An eye for detail and the ability to maintain high standards of quality
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and spoken
  • Strong analytical skills and efficient planning skills
  • Team player
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Knowledge in the aviation industry is a plus
