Cost Accountant

Reporting to the Cost Control Manager, you are a key member of the company cost control structure.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Strategy implementation

• Assist management in strategic direction and do a close follow up on strategy execution.
• Lead projects which will foster cost effectiveness.

Operational efficiency

• Measure and analyse of variances with scorecards and production reports
• Monitor and present KPIs and make recommendations on corrective actions
• Act a business partner for operations and other functions, helping them to achieve the goals and making them aware of the financial risks and opportunities.

Internal control

• Optimize existing processes.
• Take initiative to define new processes in order to enhance quality, profitability and reliability of operations.
• Monitor compliance to procedures.

Profile:

• Degree holder in Management or Accounting
• Minimum 3 years proven track record in a similar position or external audit.
• Inquisitive, assertive and self-starter
• Proactive, autonomous and practical person who is at ease on the production floor
• Team player with the ability to lead cross-functional projects
• Excellent mastery of Excel and MS Office
• Promoter for animal welfare
