Rogers Capital Technology Services Ltd is searching for a Core Network Engineer to work in its Managed Connectivity Services department.
The Core Network Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of the core IP network infrastructure. This role ensures the seamless delivery of internet and MPLS, services with high availability, scalability, and performance, adhering to industry best practices.

Skills required:
- Qualifications: -Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.
- CCNA and CCNP is a must -Experience
- Minimum 3 years in Networking field with in depth knowledge of BGP and MPLS.
Duties:
- Network Design & Deployment
- Design and implement core network solutions based on business requirements.
- Evaluate new technologies and integrate them into the network to improve efficiency and performance.
- Plan and execute network expansions and upgrades.
- Monitor the IP core network using advanced tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform regular maintenance, including software upgrades and patch management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to minimize downtime and service disruptions.
- Routing & Switching
- Configure and maintain BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and other routing protocols.
- Optimize routing policies for efficient traffic management and redundancy.
- Security & Compliance
- Implement security measures to protect the network from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain up-to-date network diagrams, configurations, and SOPs.
- Provide regular performance and incident reports to management. Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including NOC, presales, and field engineers.
- Assist in capacity planning and customer project integrations.
