- Preparation of food as per restaurant “à la carte” menu.
- Assist in all food production for the kitchen department.
- Properly wash all vegetables and other food products prior to peeling, cutting and cooking purposes.
- Respect portion control by appropriate weightage, measurement, ingredient mixtures in accordance to required recipes for food preparation to avoid wastage and maintain consistency.
- Prepares any necessary sauces or accompaniments for appropriate meal.
- Operates various kitchen appliance such as a blender, oven, grill, or mixer.
- Bake, roast, cook, and steam meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods.
- Carve and trim meats such as chicken, beef, pork, and lamb for hot or cold service, and/or for sandwiches.
- Verify quality and presentation of dishes prior to serving.
- Assist other cooks during food preparation and plate assembly process.
- Ensure all food and other items are stored correctly.
- Adhere to the restaurant standard procedure of preparation and presentation.
- Adhere to food health and safety regulations.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are met and workstation is in proper hygienic and sanitised condition.
- Ensure all standard operating procedures are carefully followed and applied.
- Any other duties related to food preparation.

- It is highly preferable that the candidate lives in the northern part of the Island.
