We are looking for a Compliance Officer – Data Protection & Sustainability to oversee the company’s compliance with data protection regulations and relevant legislative requirements.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Uphold the Company’s registration as a Data Controller and Data Processor with the Data Protection Office by proving timely assistance to all functional areas.
- Drive the implementation of systems, processes and measures to address data protection requirements.
- Review and conduct planned assessments against data protection requirements, monitor improvement actions and follow up on the timely completion of corrective actions.
- Monitor and report on sustainability aspects, and actively support the implementation of the sustainability roadmap.
- Administer the planning and good conduct of the Company’s projects and activities within approved budgets and set timelines.
- Participate in all projects and activities while promoting staff awareness and participation from all functional units.
- Support the company’s certification to the Quality Management System (ISO 9001) by providing timely assistance to all functional areas.
- Conduct planned internal quality audits, evaluate and monitor improvement actions, and follow up on the timely completion of corrective actions.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Undergraduate Degree in related fields
- Certification courses in data protection and/or sustainability
- 2 years working experience in data privacy and/or sustainability fields
- Highly proficient in MS Office tools (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
Required Skills and Aptitudes:
- Strong communication skills (both written and Oral)
- Effective time management and planning skills
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in presentations
