Our Client in the banking sector is seeking to recruit a Communications Officer for its operation.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Draft and Edit a wide range of materials (articles, news, briefing notes, memos, video scripts, internal comms to colleagues, etc)
  • Deliver creative and compelling copy across all aspects of our digital communications, including website copy, blogs, articles and social media
  • Ensure complex concepts and information are presented in a clear, accessible and engaging manner
  • Review and proof read corporate materials to ensure a consistent tone (reports, policies guidelines etc)
  • Create engaging content through graphic design in different formats (infographics, presentation)
  • Source, review and organise engaging content for staff (news stories, photos, videos, newsletters, briefings…)
  • Collaborate with team and colleagues across the organisation to source and generate content to reach target employee groups
Profile:
  • Degree in journalism, Communications
  • Proven experience in editing, writing, copywriting in English
  • Have an impeccable command of English
  • Ideally have an interest in the Fintech / Financial space
  •  Ability to simplify technical jargon
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in-house
  • A passion for writing and the ability to produce creative and compelling copy to tight deadlines
  • Strong eye for detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team
