Our client in the advertising sector is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Commercial Director to add value to the growth activities by identifying new commercial opportunities and managing marketing efforts.
Reporting to CEO, the incumbent will keep abreast of trends and market conditions to provide strategic advice to the agency.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive sales.
- Conduct market research and analysis.
- Understand the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met.
- Develop strategies to acquire new customers and manage client relationships (new and existing).
- Collaborate and coordinate with diverse internal teams.
- Build and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
- Responsible for financial targets and business development.
Profile:
- Degree in marketing, management or relevant field.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Tools.
- Proven track record in sales and/or marketing and managing relationships with key clients.
- In depth understanding of market research methods and analysis.
- Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes.
- Commercially savvy and strategic.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Project Management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Desired qualities: open, transparent, honest, respectful, good attitude and dynamic.
