Responsibilities:
Responsible for the staff canteen kitchen and food preparation.
Prepares different dishes for the Staff.
Checks on daily orders and assists in staff menu planning.
Reports directly to Culinary Director.
Checks on the quality of all food items/ingredients before preparation
Actively supports hygiene and HACCP programs.
Ensures maintenance of hotel/hygiene standards.
Maintains all recipes.
Monitor temperature and refilling of food at buffet in the staff canteen.
Any other duties, which may be assigned to you from time to time as directed by your Supervisor or Manager.
Maintain good communication and working relationships with all hotel areas; Act in accordance with fire, health and safety regulations and follow the correct procedures when required.
Minimum of 2 years in a similar position in a high volume, internationally recognized hotel chain or food and beverage establishment.
