Carers (2442-CR)

Our client is seeking to recruit Carers who will support healthcare professionals in providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that supplies and medical equipment are replenished.
• Improving the mobility of patients.
• Setting up equipment required by healthcare professionals.
• Taking the temperature, blood pressure, and blood glucose levels of patients, and recording the results.
• Recording the pulse rate of patients.
• Measuring patients' weight.
• Preparing patients for therapy.
• Making up beds, giving out bedpans, and collecting bedpans.
• Follow infection control protocols and ensure a clean and safe environment for patients.
• Assist in maintaining hygiene standards by cleaning and disinfecting patient areas, equipment, and bedding.

The Carers will require to work on a shift system.

Profiles:

• Qualification in health care assisting or any relevant qualification.
• Proven experience in a caring role would be preferred.
• Clear background check.
• The desire to work with all people, irrespective of background, race, or creed.
• Good communication skills.
• Good listening skills.
• Physically able to lift patients.
• A tactful and approachable personality.
