To prepare, cook and serve food delegated as your responsibility, ensuring that the highest possible quality is maintained and that agreed standards for food preparation and presentation are met at all times under guidance from a senior chef.

 

  1. Qualifications:

    • Certificate in cooking
    • Relevant experience in cooking 

    Experience 

    1. Indian Cuisine Specialist

    2. To collect ordered food items from store

    3. To check all products (dry, frozen and fresh provision) collected by the kitchen helper or assistant cook

    4. To receive and examines work programmes from superior

    5. To prepare “mise-en-place” of all foodstuffs as appropriate

    6. To prepare the plate as per instructions from superior

    7. To participate in presentation & decoration of buffet

    8. To cook as per fiches techniques

    9. To keep workplace tidy

    10. To ensure guests satisfaction during services

    11. To report customer complaints efficiently to superior

    Other requirements:

    • Loves cooking
    • Able to work morning or afternoon shifts
    • Willing to work during week-end as per a roster plan
    • Good manners and good attitude
    • Willing to learn and work under guidance, in a team
    • Enjoys good health
