The Lux Collective is hiring for the position of Cluster Revenue Manager at its Corporate Office based at Floréal.

 

The Cluster Revenue Manager will report to the General Manager of the resort and the Senior Vice President - Revenue Management & Distribution and will work closely with the Regional Head of Revenue Management.

The incumbent will:

  • Oversee and execute the revenue management and distribution strategy for multiple properties in the cluster.
  • Work closely with the hotel’s teams and the Sales & Marketing team for the implementation and development of strategies.
  • Work closely with the Regional Head of Revenue Management to ensure strategies are in the best interest of the whole portfolio of hotels in destinations with multiple hotels.
  • Actively participate in implementing pricing strategies for all market segments.
  • Develop and implement strategies with the hotel leadership teams to optimise total revenues of each hotel in the cluster, with a strong focus also on non-rooms revenue centres.
  • Monitor and benchmark the hotel’s and the Group performance against that of our competitors.
  • Conduct Revenue Generation Index analysis in order to evaluate the competitiveness of the properties of the Group in the hospitality industry.
  • Collect, analyse and interpret data/information whilst conducting detailed data analysis of internal information to forecast future demand and to reach target markets.
  • Monitor the revenue forecasts and budgets for all hotels in the cluster.
  • Determine and set room rates through rate strategies and negotiation.
  • Analyse and recommend adequate pricing and selling tactics to optimise performance of non-rooms revenue centres.
  • Maximise revenue and profitability through adequate revenue management techniques.
  • Participate in inventory management in order to maximise the RevPAR and TRevPAR with a consideration of cost of sales.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least a Higher School Certificate or equivalent qualifications.
  • Tertiary education at Degree Level in Business, Hospitality Management and/or Commerce Management from a recognised institution or equivalent qualifications. 

PREVIOUS PERFORMANCE

  • A minimum of 6 years of working experience in the Revenue Management department.
  • A minimum of 2 years of working experience in a similar position, preferably with luxury international brands.

  • Excellent organisational, financial and analytical skills.
  • Strong mathematical and commercial acumen in both Revenue and Sales.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter, efficient with time management, technical skills and goal oriented.
  • Highly interactive, people friendly and a great team player.
  • Excellent knowledge in Opera Property Management System.
  • Sound knowledge in Infor EzRMS (Revenue Management System) or any market leading Revenue Management System.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Package.
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English, French, Swahili and other languages desirable.
  • A clean certificate of character is a must.
