Canteen Cooks ensure kitchens' cleanliness and safety, they purchase and prepare ingredients, cook meals for companies' internal staff, monitor food storage. Canteen Cooks also responsible for managing kitchens' operations, planning menus and cost control.
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes
- Oversees and directs the kitchen staff.
- Maintains a calm composure during periods of difficulty and hustle and bustle.
- Respond to questions and complaints from clients to help them resolve problems.
- Proficient in staff training for all back-of-house operations.
- Manage product storage, maintenance, and rotation activities to avoid any damages or spoilages.
Qualification and Skills:
- Experience in cooking "large quantities of food" - Optional .
- ServSafe Food Handler’s Certificate or Similar certification
