Our purchasing team is currently looking for new team members for our Purchasing Center in Port Louis, Mauritius. Would you like to be part of team who ensure that business purchasing needs are fulfilled through a high level of automation across Sub-Saharan Africa? Are you keen to find the most proper competitive supplier for lower value requests and negotiate contracts conditions? Do you enjoy working with data and support internal stakeholders?

Your task will be depending on your experience and skills:

Buyer (Requisition processing and adhoc purchases)
•	Processing purchase requests, negotiations with suppliers for the best offer, ensuring mandatory information is included
•	Daily support and process the requirements/orders in the ordering system (e-tool)
•	Communication with business requestors, ensuring request is properly specified and documented
•	Searching for new suppliers and communication with existing suppliers
•	Matching purchase requests with existing contracts and preferred vendors
•	Maintain good relationship with suppliers and internal business partners and solve day-to-day problems

Buyer (back-office and value enabling)
•	Actively drive the creation and use of procurement e-catalogues
•	Managing vendor master data throughout electronic tools
•	Generate and analyze reports, identify improvement areas
•	Support team-efficiency with standardized documentation, process steps 
•	Provide trainings for internal business partners

Your profile should look like: 
•	Minimum 1 years of experience in procurement services or in a similar role
•	Excellent verbal and written English and French language skills, Portuguese is a plus
•	Fully computer literate, with a solid knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
•	Problem solving skills and “Can Do” attitude
•	Enjoy communication and interaction with people
•	Enjoy working with data and detail orientation
