Business Intelligence Team Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Intelligence Team Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting data, analyzing results, and providing actionable insights to drive business decisions. This role requires proficiency in data analytics tools, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex findings effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Use statistical techniques and predictive modeling to optimize business processes.
• Identify and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across all reports and analyses.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to improve data collection processes.
• Assist in Insurance company audits.
• Perform analysis and data crunching for reinsurance accounts.
• Liaise and provide assistance to the Actuarial Team

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science/Statistics/Mathematics/ Actuarial Science/ICT Studies or any related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Team Leader or in a similar role.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Advanced Excel and/or Tableau

• Proficiency in SQL and Python, would be an added advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
