 The Work:

 Translate functional design into technical solution

  • Design and create complex data conversion and ETL jobs
  • Conduct quality control on developments by peers
  • Prepare comprehensive technical documentations including specifications, test conditions and error logs
  • Execute end-to-end unit testing (Extraction, transformation, load)
  • Identify data quality issues and provide recommendations for improvement and resolution
  • Work with Functional and Development team to resolve issues
  • Execute data load and support data reconciliation in scope with data migration
  • Participate in integration testing and document conversion results
  • Participate in defect analysis and resolution

 Here’s what you will need:

  •   Degree in Computer Science or any related field
  • Understanding of database technologies e.g. SQL, ETL, PLSQL, T-SQL, No-SQL or Big Data technologies (e.g. Hadoop)
  • 1 – 8 years of working experience, preferably in a technical environment or in one of the following: ETL, Talend, SAS, MicroStrategy, DataStage, SAP BI/BO/BW/BODS, Informatica
  • Conversant with different methodologies like Agile & Waterfall
  • Experience in at least one RDBMS is a plus
  • Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others
  • Good French communication skills (written and oral)
